Auralite-23 is made up of 17 to 23 minerals and is thought to be around 1.2 billion years old, dating back to when oxygen first appeared in the atmosphere and multicellular species began to develop. To date, there is only one known deposit in the world, which makes this stone of incomparable beauty an extremely rare mineral species.
