Beading needle with eye/loop
Needle length: 27 cm
Needles specially designed for stringing natural beads and creating jewelry (bracelets, necklaces, malas, etc.). Their thin diameter allows them to pass easily through bead holes while facilitating thread threading.
These needles are ideal for working with natural stone beads, often used in jewelry making.
How to choose the size:
- 4 mm beads → 0.4 mm or 0.5 mm
- 6 mm beads → 0.5 mm or 0.6 mm
- 8 mm beads → 0.6 mm or 0.7 mm
- 10 mm beads → 0.7 mm or 0.8 mm
- 12 mm beads → 0.8 mm
The thicker the needle, the stronger and more resistant it will be, and therefore less likely to break during use. Very thin needles are practical for small bead holes but can be a bit more fragile.
If you are looking for a versatile needle, the 0.5 mm size is often the most recommended, as it suits most beads used in jewelry making.
Sold in packs of 2 needles.
You can use it with a multi-strand spool.
Use with multi-strand thread:
Thanks to their eye/loop, these needles also allow the use of multi-strand thread, which is often used to strengthen jewelry creations.
- For 4 mm, 6 mm beads, it is generally possible to double the thread (2 strands) for better strength.
- For 8 mm, 10 mm and larger beads, as the bead hole is wider, it is often possible to quadruple the thread (4 strands).
The needle eye allows several strands of thread to pass through easily while maintaining good flexibility for stringing beads.
8 mm amethyst bracelet tutorial with needle and multi-strand elastic ✨💜
- Cut a multi-strand elastic thread and double it for extra strength (allow a little extra to be comfortable)
- Thread it through a needle eye and form a small loop.
- Thread the beads one by one → they will sit directly on 2 strands.
- Slide the beads until you reach the desired length.
- Remove the needle.
- Slightly trim one end if necessary and bring the two sides together to form the bracelet.
- Adjust the tension (the beads should be snug but the bracelet remains flexible).
-
Tie a knot by alternating:
👉 a knot from the front
👉 a knot from the back
👉 then again a knot from the front
⚠️ This alternation is super important to prevent the knot from coming undone
- Cut off the excess thread.
- Hide the knot in a bead for a clean finish ✨
